Akihabara- The Electronics District

We spent the afternoon in Akigabra - the crazy electronics district here in Tokyo. This is a neighborhood which I had not been to yet, and I was very excited to check it out. There are hundreds of HUGE stores packed with electronics. Very overwhelming, but very cool.

We checked out a large store called Yodobashi Akiba, which was like a multi-story Fry's Electronics, but even larger than you could possibly imagine! They had everything!!

Huge Camera lenses

when's the last time you saw 35mm film?

a kiosk for Adobe software - sold in flat cards - like gift cards. no boxes

After we left Yodobashi Akiba, we walked around the streets of Akihabara

We found a Sega store that had these wild photo booths. We all went in and took some fun photos. You could even have the machine change the shape of your eyes so that we would all look like anime characters!
