My Mom sent me this article on SF Gate about yesterday's Tri-Pawed Dog Picnic. At first I was excited because Wallace got his picture in the news, but then I started to read the article: Wallace is actually largely featured in this article!! OMG! ❤️
It's official: my dog is way more famous than I'll ever be. LOL!!!

Gina's last morning in SF
Gina and I checked out a bakery in SF that I've known about and have been wanting to try for about two year, yet I had never made it to. Arsicualt Bakery had been named "Best new Bakery in the Country in 2016". Every since then, the tiny bakery has been very popular with long lines.
Since Gina loves pastries so much, I figured it would be the perfect place to bring her. We went around 9:00, and hardly had to wait at all. We ordered their almond chocolate croissant, and well as their basic croissant that they are so famous for.
OMG. This was the best croissant I have had since to the amazing one I had in Paris in October. This one was the easily at least as good, if not better than the Paris one. The almond chocolate croissant was definitely the best I've had of its kind. Our minds were pretty much blown.
Wallace may miss his Auntie Gina even more than I will. She spent several minutes each day giving him a doggie-massage. He was in a blissful, zen state every time. I'm going to to try my best to try to give him daily massages (good for his muscles!) but I doubt I'll be able to do them as well as Gina.

East Coast meets West Coast Doodle Romp!!
Wallace and I had a wonderful time at a special SF Doodle Romp today. We had several Doodle friends visit from the East Coast (and Portland, too) this weekend, so we had a special Romp to host them all today.
The first photo shows all of the freshly baked doggie treats that were made for our Doodles this morning by the wonderful people at Paw Patch Pastries, a specialty Dog Bakery in SF!! They were the same Bakery who made the cake and other treats at the Doodle Wedding on Friday. We have to check out their storefront!!

Eyvind Earle Exhibit at the Walt Disney Family Museum
JD and I went to the see the "Awakening Beauty: The Art of Eyvind Earle" at the Walt Disney Family Museum today. The exhibit was beautiful. Actually, I find I very have very much enjoyed all of the special exhibits that I've seen at this museum over the years. I should probably get a membership!
I've always enjoyed Eyvind Earle's art, but admit that it has been several year since I've seen any of his original pieces in person. Now that I'm back to painting, I was really taken aback by the beauty and artistry of his original works. His ability to create lights and darks, his attention to detail, the original composition, etc., were really breathtaking.
Photos of the artwork never do an exhibit justice, but I took a few to document and to share a bit of the beauty of the exhibit.

Wallace and Yuki at Fort Funston
Wallace and I met Yuki and Alisa at Fort Funston today. Yuki had never been before, and she did very well off leash!! She just stuck with her buddy, Wallace, the whole time!!
It was a beautiful and clear day, and was nice to be by the coast where it was a little cooler.
The pups ran and wrestled and ran and wrestled!! They will both be exhausted and will sleep well tonight!!
