Sunday's Cold 10-mile walk

Sunday's 10-mile route

After Saturday's hot temperatures, most of us came in Sunday expecting slightly cooler temperatures, but still warm. (the forecast temps for the day were in the low 70s)

Imagine a bunch of Hotties gathering at the Warming Hut at 7:00am wearing short/skirts/light shirts only to be greeting with Fog and wind! oh, my!

We made the most of it, and moved swiftly, to warm up! It was a smaller group of under 20 walkers, so we made good time! I think it was the first time I've ever walked with the group where we finished before 11:00am!

For the second weekend in a row, my husband, Dick, joined us! It makes me very happy to have him along - I enjoy sharing these walks with him so much, and he's having a great time, too! It was Dick's first time walking through the many beautiful trails in the Presidio.

The further we walked, the foggier it became! Do you remember the new Golden Gate Bridge Overlook that we had visited last weekend?

Here's a photo of the overlook from last weekend:

Here's how it looked today! The Golden Gate Bridge is no where to be seen underneath all that fog!

Walking Ahead ;)

there's Dick! Keeping up with the quick walkers in the group!

Back at the Warming Hut at 10:45am. Even more fog than there was in the morning, and the Golden Gate Bridge is no where to be found
