I got a call last week from the blood center telling me that I was eligible again, so I made another appointment for this afternoon.
Success! We were back at it, and it all went fine. I was able to donate two units in about 55 minutes. Again, I was told by several people on staff that I have a very high platelet count. :)
Always happy when I'm able to make these blood and platelet donations. I know they are very needed, and will be helping someone within a couple of days.
oh, and yes - I did get a fresh-baked cookie again for my donation. :)
