When in Rome: Day 3 - The Vatican Museum

Now I understand why the Vatican Museum is considered to be one of greatest museums in the World. It is also enormous. We "skimmed" it in about 3 hours, and really only saw the highlights. (although, so many things were highlights!)

For the record, the Sistene Chapel may be one of the most astonishing things I've ever seen. We weren't allowed to take any photos in there, so no separate blog post for Michelangelo's masterpiece.
