Yesterday, I took the plunge and bought a new 15" MacBook Pro. It's been 3.5 years since I bought my last Mac, "Mac Dreamy" and it is starting to show its age. It is slowing down, and more importantly, it has run out of storage space. MacDreamy has 150GB, whereas my new one (I think I'm going to call it "St. Jimmy") has 500GB!! Wowza!!
I hooked the two up with an ethernet cable earlier today so they can transfer data from MacDreamy to St. Jimmy. Last time I checked, they were playing nicely together, and had about an hour left to go. Hope it goes smoothly!
Oh, and did I mention: St. Jimmy has 8GB of RAM?! Oh, Baby! :)
