Such a bummer.
Dick and I went to this lovely, cozy restaurant on our first date, nearly 16 years ago. After we got married nine years ago, we've been going every year on our anniversary.
I'll be sad to see it go. The space is lovely, the staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. Such a loss for us, and for San Francisco.
Here is a painting that I did of the interior of the restaurant last year. Dick had taken the photograph on our anniversary the year before thinking it might make a good painting.
