It's HOT in San Francisco today/tomorrow/this weekend. The temperature difference between the upstairs level (attic level) where our bedroom is is 12 degrees hotter than our guest bedroom (garden level). We're sleeping in the guest room tonight, and likely for the next few nights.
Hardly anyone in San Francisco has air conditioning. It's just those few days a year of Indian Summer that really get us.

Olive thinks she is a dog
I bought a new bed for Wallace's crate (memory foam!) a couple of days ago. Olive has been very interested ever since I brought it home. I have found her napping in Wallace's crate both yesterday and today! She's a fan of the memory foam.
Wallace in Union Square!!
Wallace and I had a quick walk around Union Square this morning, and he took photos with Tony Bennett's heart, and another one in the Square.

Back at Bernal Heights Park
Wallace and I took a hike up to Bernal Heights Park this afternoon. It has been several months since we've been, as I had heard there were tons of fox tails there over the early Summer.
We had a great time. Wallace was very happy running around and finding sticks.

Visiting Brentwood
Wallace and I are spending a couple of days in Brentwood visiting my parents. They always love when Wallace comes for a visit. 😊
It is super hot here today! It got up to 109 during the day and was still in the 90s when we took a walk after 8:00.
Wallace and Nikolas (my parent's kitty) are getting closer and closer to becoming friends. They were just a couple of feet away from each other with a barrier in-between them. I think they are actually pretty comfortable with each other already. Nikolas just needs to work up the nerve to go up to Wallace. Wallace is so excited to have another kitty friend.

Season Seven Finale of Game of Thrones
David and Miguel hosted a gathering last night for the season finale of Game of Thrones. So much fun!
10-Mile walk in Memory of Sharla
Sunday's 10-mile route
We had a beautiful 10-mile walk to celebrate the life of our friend, Sharla this morning. We walked across the fog-covered Golden Gate Bridge, then down to a magical spot named Kirby Cove in the Marin Headlands. Linda brought a wreath of flowers and we all wrote notes on tags that we attached to the wreath which Linda tossed into the Pacific.
We all miss you so much, Sharla. It was a beautiful place to share our memories and our love for you together.
