Wallace did great! He did get carsick after the first 4-1/2 hours, but hey, that's a record for us! We were well prepared with paper towels, baby wipes, plastic bags and clean towels, so clean up was pretty straightforward.
Turns out it was a pretty hot day for such a long drive. Temps got up to 104F!!
Our hotel for the night is pretty great. They have pet friendly rooms, and even provided a little doggie treat bag for Wallace!
It is also walking distance from a lot of stores and restaurants. The three of us went for a bit of a walk to stretch out legs and ordered Mexican food to bring back to our room.
