Thank you, SF SPCA!

In what is now an annual tradition, I took Wallace to the SF SPCA on the Anniversary of his adoption to thank the staff and volunteers who helped him so much before I was adopted.

.

We took this photo with Dirk, Christine and Yishian!! Dirk met Wallace when he first came from the shelter in Stockton and kept him with him in his office for a few days. He has told me that Wallace was  the saddest dog to ever come through this shelter. He used to try to feed Wallace chicken and in an attempt to give me back his will to live. (His words!).

Next to him is Christine. She used to come visit Wallace after her shifts and would sit with him in his room, brush his fur, and give him love. She processed all of Wallace's paperwork when we adopted him.

.

Next to me is Yishian. She also helped with Wallace's paperwork, and also helped me and Dick when we came back a few months later to adopt Olive!!.

Wallace loves these three, and we love to visit them and thank them when we can. Plus, they are all such good sports and agreed to wear the party hats in the photo! 🙃

Thank you again to all of our friends at the SF SPCA who did so much for Wallace before we even knew him. You took an injured and frightened dog, gave him medical assistance, rehabilitated him, and helped him find his furever home with us. You saved his life. Thank you!!
