Here are some of Wallace's favorite photos from 2016. We don't know much about Wallace's life from before we adopted him in May, but we know he's been a joyous and happy little guy ever since!
Happy New Year, everyone!!

Gingerbread Houses in San Francisco
Today, we went on a quest to see gingerbread houses in San Francisco! We started at Waterbar on the Embarcadero and saw their gingerbread house version of the Ferry Building. After, we walked to the Ferry Building for a quick lunch before taking the cable car up to Nob Hill.
In Nob Hill, we first went to Grace Cathedral where we walked the labyrinth, then went to the Fairmont Hotel, who had the most amazing and enormous gingerbread house we've ever seen!! You can actually walk through it and eat off the walls (if you really want to). We snuck into the Tonga Room, which was closed, but the door was open so we could take a quick peek inside.
After, we walked down to Union Square to the St Francis Hotel and saw their two gorgeous gingerbread castles.
We walked by Macy's and peeked in on the kittens and puppies in the SPCA Windows, then finished our adventure with sundaes and Ghirardelli at the Palace Hotel.
What a fun afternoon, and a great way to show Anna and Peter some fun sights in San Francisco.

Straight No Chaser with Mom and Dad
My parents took us to see the a-cappella group, Straight No Chaser, tonight at Davies Symphony Hall. It was their Christmas gift to us. Fun performance and really nice to spend an evening out with my Mom and Dad! Thanks, Mom and Dad!!

Chow Family Christmas
Dick and I hosted our family for Christmas Brunch for the first time this morning. It was really fun to have everyone over. We made our "Big Country Breakfast (TM)": scrambled eggs, grits, bacon, country ham and biscuits. My Mom brought our family traditional Mickey Mouse Waffles and my sister and Graham brought Chicken Apple sausage and mimosa makings.
Wallace and Olive both seemed to enjoy their first Christmas with our family. We certainly love having them with us!

Snow in Noe Valley!!
One of the neighbors in Noe Valley announced that there would be snow at their house at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00. We just went at 8:00 and it was beautiful and so magical! It really helped get us into the Christmas spirit. ❄️π⛄️❄️
