The 2016 Immediate Impact Walk!!

Today's 20-mile Route!

Another 20-miles, another Immediate Impact Walk on the books!

For the fifth year in a row, we had a magical day of love, laughter, emotions, friendship, and lots and lots of walking! The weather was quite funny this year. The temperature was in the low-60s for most of the day, but we had everything from overcast skies, rain, wind, and finally sun! It made for a well-rounded weather day in the micro-climates of San Francisco.

We did a HUGE 20-mile loop around San Francisco, starting in the Presidio, across the Marina, the Wharf, the Embarcadero, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, the Mission, the Castro, Corona Heights, the Inner Sunset, Golden Gate Park, the Richmond District, and back into the Presidio.

I'm so proud that by the end of the day, we have raised more than $81,000 - well over our goal of $75,000! We also surpassed our goal of having raised more than $500,000 over the first five years of the Immediate Impact Walk! So proud of our small but mighty group!

My personal fundraising is currently at over $11,000!! Thank you to ALL of my generous supporters to have made this all possible!

I am so grateful that I have had the amazing opportunity to have been a part of this incredible event for the first five years. These women continue to inspire me, and keep me laughing all day long, no matter how tired we are.

It was another amazing, magical and unforgettable event.
So grateful. So proud.

My heartfelt thanks to all who work so hard to make this event possible.
