We're taking Wallace on his first big road trip! We're driving up to Seattle to visit our friends, and to introduce them all to Wallace!!
We'll make the drive up in two days, stopping tonight in Springfield, OR.
Wallace has a tendency to get car sick. A friend told me last week that she used to give her dog Dramamine until she eventually got accustom to car rides. We looked it up, saw that it's safe to give to dogs, and figured out the correct dosage for his weight. We gave it to him about an hour before we left (as directed) and it has kicked in and is making him sleepy. Our driving time today will be around 10 hours (with short breaks) so I'd rather have him sleepy than carsick. Fingers crossed!
