We first went to the High Line in 2009, the same year the first section was opened (http://trinachow.blogspot.com/2009/10/vacation-day-4.html?m=1). We've been back a few times since, but today was the first time we've walked the entire length since all three sections have been completed!
We took the F Train from Midtown to the new 34th Street/11th Ave Station, which apparently just opened last week. It let us off across the street from the Convention Center (which is hosting Comicon NY this week!) only blocks from the entrance/end of the High Line (the section we hadn't been to yet).
Along the High Line, we stopped at an interactive art installation made of white Legos. Dick, very sweetly, stopped and added a "T" (for Trina) to part of the sculpture. :)
It was such a gorgeous day. Temps were in the low 70s, and so clear!!
