Day Trip: Mount Rainier National Park

What a beautiful day! We drove about two hours to Mount Rainier National Park. We did a 4-mile hike. It was pretty spectacular! I think we lucked out because it was so clear and beautiful, and it was also pretty quiet.

We started at the Sunrise Visitor's Center. They have several trails that start there.

After our hike, we drive back down to the Crystal Mountain Resort where we saw they had gondola rides up to the summit. It was fantastic!! Again, there were no crowds, so we walked right on. It took about 10 minutes to reach the top. Really beautiful! Once at the top, we enjoyed a very late lunch/early dinner at the outdoor restaurant.
