Kiwirail from Christchurch to Greymouth

This morning, we took a 4.5 hour trainride from Chirstchurch to Greymouth on Kiwirail! Our route went from the east coast of New Zealand all the way to the west coast. We traveled 224 kilimeters in total, seeing spectacular gorges and river valleys of the Waimakariri River. It was a very nice and relaxing way to enjoy the beauty of this country.
