Our flight was very nice and on time. I was even treated to a hot fudge sundae!
Once we landed, We took a train from the airport to the Shinjuku station, then a quick cab ride to our hotel.
Our room is on the 42nd floor. Looking out into Shinjuku is like looking out into the world of Bladerunner.
We checked in around 6:00, got settled into our room, then found a great little place in the basement of the building where we had a bowl of sobo for dinner.
It's 8:00pm now. Going to try to stay up a couple more hours to adapt to the time zone. I didn't get much sleep on the plane (but I did watch 3 movies) so I hope to sleep well tonight.
We plan to do a lot if walking tomorrow, before Dick starts work in Monday.
