Dick and I went to see the Magritte Exhibit at the SF MOMA today. It was fantastic! It was a fairly large show which focused on the later works of his life.
It surprised me how varied Magritte's work was. So many different styles, including several very well known pieces in the last couple of decades of his life, following WWII.
My favorite room featured 7 different pieces of the "Dominion of Light" series. It is the most pieces ever shown together in one exhibit of those pieces.
There was also a fun little interactive area at the end of the exhibit where we took some fun photos.
The exhibit only runs through the end if this month. I highly recommend it if you have a chance to come.
