Wallace and Filbert

Wallace met his doppelgänger today!! Wallace and Filbert have been friends on Instagram for a couple of months, and Filbert's Mom and I arranged for them to meet at the park this afternoon. Wallace and Filbert look a lot alike, are roughly the same age, AND they are both missing their left hind leg!! (Filbert was rescued on Christmas Eve, and had only recently had his amputation.) Filbert is still on the shy side, so Wallace was really good with him, trying not to overwhelm him. By the end of the hour, Filbert was much more comfortable and they were fast friends. Wallace and I both enjoyed meeting Filbert and his Mom, and we hope we can get these two together again soon!!
