One year ago today, we met Wallace for the very first time! He was at the SF SPCA, recently available for adoption, and had just had his left hind leg amputated 10 days before. He was so skinny, scared and uncertain, but was just starting to come out of his shell. We had seen his photo on the SPCA's website and went in just to meet him! He was a little nervous when we met, but we both loved me immediately. We had never had a dog before, so we weren't sure if we were ready for one. We thought about him a lot over the next few days before we put a hold on him, and brought him home six days later. We're all so much happier now. ❤️
