10-Year Anniversary Wine

One of my favorite wedding gifts that we received (10 years ago) was from our friends, Kristen and Mitch. They gave us three bottles of wine: one to be opened on our first anniversary, a second to be opened on our fifth anniversary, and the third bottle to be opened on our tenth anniversary.

Our 10th Wedding Anniversary was last month, on October 9th. We have been keeping the 10th Anniversary bottle of wine in San Francisco, and were planning to have it the next time we were in town after our anniversary. As good timing would have it, we had plans to see Mitch and Kristin for lunch today. We decided what better way to enjoy it, than by sharing it with the people who gave it to us 10 years ago!

It was a delicious bottle of wine from 2002!
