Tammy and I went to Frontera Grill, a popular restaurant in Chicago where our friend, David, works. We weren't sure if he was working today or not, and were so happy to see him there. We went around 2:00, which was a slower time, and he was able to visit with us a bit.
So wonderful to see David again. It's been more than 14 years since I last saw him.
By the way, great restaurant. It is owned by Chef Rick Bayless, a chef that most people know from his show on TV. (I only leaned about him today.)
