The Whitney Museum of American Art

Dick and I went to a The Whitney Museum (a first for both of us!) this afternoon. Most of the museum is being set up for the soon-to-be-open Jeff Koons Retrospective, but the exhibit we wanted to see, "American Legends" was open, and they only charged half the regular admission price.

My favorite part of the collection was the Hoppers and Calders, which, while on display today, will evidentially be part of another exhibit starting next month. (http://whitney.org/Exhibitions/EdwardHopperAndAlexanderCalder)
