First long walk of the New Year
This morning's route
This morning, I went on a beautiful 7-mile New Year's Walk with some very great friends. This is my last full weekend in San Francisco for a while, so it was really nice having a chance to spend some quality time with these friends and have a nice walk together to kick off 2014. With all that's been going on lately, this was a much needed, and much appreciated getaway. Thank you, Linda, for organizing, and getting us out!
We met at the Land's End Visitor Center at 8:00. The main purpose of the walk was to go down towards the Labyrinth in Mile Rock Beach, and to leave our "Intentions" in the center of the Labyrinth. We made our way down to the labyrinth, followed the path to the center, and left our intentions. My intention for the new year is quite simple - Embrace the Changes of the coming year. :)
