Tonight's event for Jimmy & Pavan's wedding was the Sangeet, which is a celebration of song and dance before the wedding. Many friends and family of the bride and groom sing and dance to show their happiness for the couple.
The event was held in the Armani Pavilion of the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world! Wow! What a backdrop for the festivities! It was an AMAZING event! Probably the most extravagant event I've ever had the pleasure of attending.
We arrived as the Milni and Sagan was just completing. This is a ceremony for the families to come together an exchange garlands of flowers and money.
We were then escorted outside to the large patio for the Sangeet.
Again, I think the photos will tell the story here. Suffice to say - an amazing evening, with great company, delicious food, and beautiful outfits and people everywhere!
