Day 5 - more strolling around Florence

We stopped for some delicious gelato (of course!) along Via de' Calzaiuoli on our way to see Palazza Vecchio. After, we crossed Ponte Vecchio and walked along the Arno River. The fourth photo shows our Hotel on the left side of the square.

For dinner, we ordered a Bistecca Fiorentina to share. Look how huge it was! (we couldn't finish the whole thing.) the description from our guide book: "A classic, super-thick, juicy T-bone steak, best cut from the famous snowy white Chiana cattle, simply brushed with olive oil and cracked pepper and grilled (medium-rare) over a wood fire." Delicious!!
