Fun with 3D glasses

We had dinner at Reeves and Paula's house tonight. No group photo, but some fun with Paula's 3D glasses. Gina also made her yummy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies!!

An afternoon on the farm

I spent the day with Gina and John (and their menagerie) in the farm. Gina and I took a 4.5 mile walk with Stonewall, then hung out at the house with Patton. Later we went to visit the sheep!

Wallace is staying with his Auntie Jackie this weekend while we are in Seattle. Jackie just sent me these photos. It makes my heart so happy knowing that he is having such a great time with her.

The Last Hurrah of the NKC in Seattle!

Dan and Nicole are moving to Maui (!) next week!! Dick and I flew up for the weekend to spend their last weekend as WA residents with them and the rest of the gang.

It'll be a weekend of fun, friendship and serious eating. First up: dinner at Din Tai Fung followed by ice cream at Molly Moons.

Loquat

I seem to have a large crop of Loquat fruit this year (for the first time!). Any suggestions on what to do with them? Add them to the jam rotation?

Lifelong friends

I have been friends with these two gentlemen since the Sixth Grade!! I love that we have managed to reconnect, stay in touch, and that we are now meeting for after-work drinks in the Castro. In this crazy era where so much of the state of our country/world is unknown, it's so reassuring to have the constant of deep and lifelong friendship. It helps me feel like we may all make it through these crazy times together. ❤️

DCI West

I had such a great time at DCI West yesterday. It was a great time with so many wonderful friends. Wish I had taken more photos!

Spa Day for Wallace!!!

Wallace had his Spa Day with Vicki at VIP Grooming today. It may not be his favorite thing to do, but he's a good sport about it, and his haircut looks terrific!!

DCI at the Theater

Philip and I went into our local theater to watch the DCI Tour Preview of 6 top corps. We arrived at the theater 30 minutes before the show and were the first to arrive. I saw that several theaters around the country were sold out. We only had 24-30 people at our show.

Bodie Lighthouse

I forgot to post these photos of the Bodie Lighthouse yesterday. We stopped by for a quick visit on our way back to Chapel Hill from The Outer Banks. It's so beautufulc and the sky was just amazing!
