Here's something new (for me, anyway): DOGA!! Dog Yoga!! Or, Yoga with Dogs! In this case, it was a small-dog-friendly Trapeze Yoga class!!! It was super fun, and I loved the trapeze yoga! Wallace met and played with two other young doggies while the humans did all kinds of fun inversions. I've been wanting to try this kind of yoga for a while, and the bring-your-dog angle was a great way to get me to sign up for the first time. I liked it a lot, and hope to take more classes in the future.
Back at it: donating platelets again! I try to donate about once a month. I love receiving a text message from the blood bank within a few days that my platelets have been sent to a hospital to help a patient needing a transfusion. Did you know that platelet donations must be used within five days of collection?
Wallace had his second session of Canine Circus School was this morning!! It's super cool, and we're both learning so much! So far, He is learning how to spin, bow, sit pretty (the jury is still out on whether or not he can do this on one hind leg), go back to his box, and how to run around a cone. He's very attentive and quite serious during class, so I have a hard time getting him to smile for photos after. We are both enjoying it very much, though. Wallace is doing great! I need to work on catching up with him! He can do all of the tricks well with the assistance of our trainer, but I'm still working on how to get him to bow and sit pretty with just my instruction.
